I am a writer and poet based in East Sussex, England. Born and raised in the countryside, I have always had a keen interest in folk-lore and history which I try to put into my work. My favourite stories have always been the old, old ones about fairies and elves, kings and castles, the long road and the trials and trepidations of the Green Wood. The sort of stories that were sometimes written down but could never really be contained in one telling. After all, they came about and spread from generation to generation to be lessons as much as entertainment. What is in the dark places of the world? How far will people go? Where have we come from? What is it all for? These are the questions that humanity has always been asking but that we have always been trying to answer through stories, poems, art and music. To immerse ourselves in the old stories is to immerse ourselves in history.
